Outcomes
You will be able to:
- Have confidence in developing your science curriculum beyond the classroom, understanding and recognising opportunities available to take learning outdoors.
- Understand the benefits in terms of engagement and learning for teaching in an outdoor environment.
- Make use of a bank of signposted resources and ideas to develop your teaching and learning of Biology, Chemistry and Physics outdoors and have greater confidence in supporting colleagues.
- Understand the importance of your school grounds as a teaching and learning resource and the actions you can do to improve its biodiversity and your children’s connection to nature.
